Neurological physiotherapy acts in pathologies involving the central or peripheral nervous system, resulting in complex changes in movement and function.
The aim of the intervention is to evaluate these functional changes and to promote adequate motor patterns, by improving tone, strength, motor coordination and balance.
The patient is stimulated with the aim of acquiring greater functionality, independence and autonomy, consequently improving his quality of life.
The most frequent pathologies are Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA), Vertebro-medullary Lesions, Cranioencephalic Injuries (TBI), Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, Peripheral Nerve Injuries, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Cerebral Palsy and Facial Paralysis.
